Meet The Team

Osama Watad

Lawyer

Osama is a proud Palestinian and senior lawyer with a long-standing dedication to the practice of law and to the community he serves. His success is anchored in his distinctive professional philosophy and cross-cultural expertise. Following his graduation from Tel Aviv University, he managed a thriving legal practice in Jerusalem for over 15 years under the Israeli jurisdiction. He later completed his National Committee on Accreditation through Western Law, was called to the Canadian Bar in 2016, and established his sole practice. As a native Arabic speaker navigating a Hebrew legal system and representing a predominantly Palestinian, Arabic-speaking population, Osama developed a rare capacity to bridge linguistic, cultural, and systemic divides - an approach that continues to define his legal practice in Canada. With over 30 years of legal experience, Osama brings a strong and experienced approach to every matter he handles.

Above all else, Osama is a family man. He is married to Kathy Watad, PhD and together they are proud parents to five beautiful children and their beloved family cat Zaytoun. Family is at the centre of his life, and it strongly shapes the way he practices law.

Outside the office, Osama enjoys reading, traveling, good food, and most importantly prioritizes time with his family. He and his family are actively involved in charitable work and community advocacy by regularly giving their time and support to causes they value.

Osama is fluent in Arabic, English, and Hebrew.
